Parent Leadership Training
Why You? Why Now?
Ask any parent about the dreams they have for their children’s future, and you will hear a similar response: for their children to be happy and successful, have positive relationships and family experiences and eventually, land a good job that pays well. But when it comes to their children’s schooling — which plays such a major role in formulating the habits that will lead to success in life — parents often do not know the best way to help. Parents want to know...
- Should the teacher or school have all the responsibility for educating my children?
- Do I have to be knowledgeable about the subjects my children are learning in school?
- How do I advocate for their needs so they don’t fall through the cracks in the educational system?
- How do I deal with the communication and behavior challenges that come with my children growing older and wanting more independence?
- How to I encourage my children to work hard and make good choices in life?
This is where the Parent Leadership Training comes in. It brings you together with other parents to learn the most helpful strategies for supporting your children’s learning, and for ensuring their success in life. We use time-tested methods to give you the skills necessary to make the most of your relationship with your children, and to partner with schools and community organizations to make sure your children receive the best education possible. Best of all, you can jump into the learning process at any of the 3 Training Series described here — whatever meets your needs most.
